Bookings that are cancelled more than 48 hours in advance are eligible to a 70% refund. Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours will not be refunded. However, If you would like to reschedule your booking this can be done up to 24 hours in advance, but can not be rescheduled on the day. Please see our terms and conditions for further information or contact us, we’re happy to help.

If it is just a little rain then do not fret. We have umbrellas and blankets onboard, which means the tours will go on as planned.

Our punt chauffeurs are well trained and they know what to do when its starts raining during the tour. If the rain is really heavy and is not safe to operate then we would be happy to reschedule your booking or issue a full refund.

If you are experiencing any problems purchasing a ticket online, then simply give us a call and we can take bookings over the phone. Alternatively, you can visit our ticket office at Quayside and you will be issued with one immediately. Please bear in mind the prices online are a lot cheaper compared to purchasing a ticket at the River.

Our check-in desk at our Landing Stage accepts all kinds of credit and debit cards including Visa and MasterCard. We also accept all cards when booking either through the website or over the phone.

Unfortunately we do not offer a self-hire service. Nevertheless, you could visit our website or alternately phone, and one of our friendly team will explain all of our interesting tour packages that will definitely amaze you

Yes of course. Our wide fleet of punts means that we have multiple trips that depart all throughout the day.

We operate all-year-round, apart from Christmas day. The only time we might not be operating is during times of extreme weather when the safety of our customers and staff might not be guaranteed. Nonetheless, on just about any other day, you can come and enjoy a trip up-river.

We do suggest booking online to guarantee a chauffeured punt tour and receive bigger discounts compared to buying a ticket on the day at the River.

Unlike some other companies that offer punting in Cambridge, we do not insist that our customers should only buy food and drink from us. If you would like us to take care and supply a picnic for you and your group then you can check out our Picnic Packages. You can always simply call and let us know what you would like and we will avail it on the boat. Some of our tour packages also include a visit to local restaurant.

We are open all-year-round except Christmas day.

Punting is absolutely safe for children. There is no minimum age for children. We do advise that under 16’s are accompanied by an adult. If you have a baby under one then you will not need to purchase a ticket for your child. Anyone over the age of one needs a ticket to come on one of our chauffeured tours. Please see our shared tour page for more information of our prices for adults, concessions and children’s tickets.

These can be left for safekeeping with us at the check-in desk or loaded onto the punt if there is enough space.

You simply need to be able to sit down and get back up again. Our punt chauffeurs are able bodied men who will be able to help you to board the boat and disembark safely. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you want to discuss things further before booking a tour.

Although we cannot wheel a chair onto a punt boat, our staff can help lift someone into the boat. We are talking with the council on this matter, and are hoping to be able to provide it for the 2020 punting season.

Normally, the tours are return journeys as this provides sufficient time for sightseeing as well as learning some facts about the colleges and bridges. However, if you have somewhere else to be simply inform us before the tour. We might then be able to drop you off at Silver Street, our turning point of the tour.

Yes you can. By booking private tours, you and your group are allowed to use the punt as you like during the duration of your tour. Simply ask the chauffeur and he will give you the pole and some tips on how to do it.
